12 Iconic Photos Recreated As Mind-Bending Miniatures

These are some of the world’s most iconic images…just super tiny!

As photographers who do mostly commissioned photo jobs, we always wanted to work on a free art project. The reason for that is that you can go deeper in a free project, there is more time and you are free to do what you want. There are miniatures that took 2-3 days with post production, and there are some that took 2 weeks. The Tank Man took a long time for just putting together the tanks, while Loch Ness was a pretty fast miniature, but very effective. The footstep on the moon is also an example where we had to try out different options. We built the bottom of the Moon boot, which was made of wood, and put it in the cement. We tried over 100 times until we were satisfied and had the feeling that we really stepped on the moon.
