Instead of a cemetery, you could visit a memorial forest.
The Capsula-Mundi project is a biodegradeable, organic replacement for coffins.
After dying, the remains of the body are encased inside a pod which is planted in the soil with a tree above it.
The tree then takes the nutrients from the body to help it grow.
On the website, the creators describe the process:
The tree is chosen when the person is alive, relatives and friends look after it when death occurs. A cemetery will no longer be full of tombstones and will become a sacred forest.
