Netflix Australia has finally revealed the hard facts behind its much anticipated local launch confirming the streaming service will start at $8.99/month. It comes as details of the content library were leaked all over Reddit at the weekend.

The $8.99/month price will give you access to standard definition on just one screen. You'll then be able to pay $11.99/month for HD on two separate screens and $14.99/month (marketed as a "family" pack) for 4K quality of four separate screens.


It undercuts local streaming services Presto and Stan (who both got the jump by launching earlier this year) and the Aussie version is slightly more expensive than Netflix US prices.
